Perkins Honored for
2 Decades of Service
She's been a passionate and dedicated advocate for those with substance abuse issues for decades.
Last month, Prairie Center's Danville Clinical Director, Susan Perkins, was bestowed the prestigious statewide Keith Keesy Award from the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health (IABH). The Keesy Award honors excellence in the field of addictions treatment.
"Susan’s dedication to the individuals she serves exemplifies this award. It's a small appreciation on behalf of so many individuals fortunate to work with her each and every day," said IABH CEO Sara Howe.
In her 22 years with Prairie Center, Susan’s dedication has grown our Danville facility from a small satellite office into a full outpatient treatment center serving the greater Vermilion County region.
"Susan is extremely deserving of this special recognition," says Prairie Center CEO Gail Raney. "Steadfast in her quest to provide the best possible treatment services, she constantly strives to see that we provide high quality clinical care for all we serve. Her deep commitment to helping people reach and maintain recovery is evident in all she does each day."
The entire team at Prairie Center is honored to have this hard-working and devoted advocate on our team. We are proud to see her tireless dedication to recovery getting kudos from colleagues across Illinois.
